Uses
Meldonium-MIC (Mildronate) is an anti-ischemic metabolic modulator with strong links to improved physical performance. It can increase in endurance performance of athletes, improved rehabilitation after exercise, protection against stress, and enhanced activations of central nervous system (CNS) functions. Neurological clinics have also had positive results using meldonium for the treatment of brain circulation disorders. Some people use meldonium as a nootropic to improve brain function.
Dosage and Administration
Meldonium is available in two sizes:
- Meldonium-MIC (Meldonium) - 250mg
- Meldonium-MIC (Meldonium) - 500mg
The maximum suggested daily dosage is 2000mg. In athletes, this is often taken as two split dosages of 500mg-1000mg taken 30-60 minutes prior to exercise. As a nootropic, it is often taken first thing in the morning. Dosages for heart problems or brain circulation disorders will vary.
